In pursuit of its principle of reliability, the editorial staff implement a procedure the purpose of which is to eliminate the phenomenon of "ghostwriting" and "ghost authorship" and adopts the following rules:
- Authors should be placed in the first footnote to thank people (along with their affiliation) and institutions that contributed to the publication or its enhancements (e.g. people who read a preliminary version of the paper, the inspiration for the author or those who have made an informal contribution to the overall concept of the article during seminars, conferences or informal meetings).
- In the case of the phenomena of “ghostwriting”, the editorial staff document these cases, and notify the institution that employs the author as well as associations, groups and academic societies of which they are a member.
- In the case of research funding used in a publication, the author is required to indicate the source of funding.
